Following an eight-year collaboration and a two year business partnership, Shulamit Nazarian and Seth Curcio are pleased to formally update the gallery's name to further reflect the shared efforts and interest of their joint venture.
Nazarian states, "Seth has been fundamental to the growth and vision of the gallery since joining us in 2016. He has led major initiatives such as our gallery's relocation to Hollywood in 2017, the growth of our art fair participation, and the inclusion of many of the gallery's artists. This change in name serves to reflect his many contributions to the ongoing growth and success of our business."
Adding to this sentiment, Curcio states, "Collaboration is at the heart of everything that Shula does, and working together over these years has been enriching in so many ways. I'm thrilled to expand our collaboration and continue to build together."
This announcement comes just before the gallery's participation in Frieze Los Angeles' Focus Section with artist Widline Cadet, from February 29th - March 3rd, and the opening of artist Summer Wheat's third solo exhibition, Fertile Ground, on February 24th. This Spring also see's Nazarian / Curcio's participation in EXPO Chicago and the Dallas Art Fair, as well as the opening of artist Daniel Gordon's first solo exhibition with the gallery.
